Natural Nose Rhinoplasty
Nose Reshaping in NYC
A person’s nose is one of the most common areas of the face that he or she is unhappy with. If you feel as though your nose is throwing off your appearance, Our associate, Dr. Milgram, of Teaneck, NJ can perform a natural nose rhinoplasty. This procedure is designed for men and women with busy lifestyles, creating completely individualized results with less trauma and significantly less scarring than the traditional nose surgery.
What is natural nose rhinoplasty?
During natural nose rhinoplasty, Dr. Milgram manipulates the nose tissue through nonvisible incisions inside the nose. Natural nose rhinoplasty reshapes the nose so that it blends into the face for the most natural-looking results. Each surgery is individualized by Dr. Milgram and is designed to create unique results with significantly less trauma and minimal scarring than the traditional procedure.
Is a natural nose rhinoplasty right for me?
For each rhinoplasty performed at Milgram Plastic Surgery, Dr. Milgram customizes his procedure to the individual patient. There are no “cookie-cutter” noses as Dr. Milgram carefully considers the shape of each patient’s face and nose. The emphasis of natural nose rhinoplasty is to achieve balance of the face and give each patient a nose that looks completely un-operated.
How soon can I schedule my natural nose rhinoplasty?
Your natural nose rhinoplasty can be scheduled after your in-office consultation with Dr. Milgram. Dr. Milgram has offices in Manhattan, Westchester, and Brooklyn.
When will I see the results of my natural nose rhinoplasty?
After the expected bruising and swelling go down, your reconstructed nose will be ready to show off. Thanks to the minimal scarring, it will be hard to tell you ever had surgery.
How should I prepare for my natural nose rhinoplasty?
For two weeks before rhinoplasty surgery, you will want to avoid medicines that thin the blood, such as aspirin or ibuprofen. If you are a smoker, you will be advised to quit smoking two weeks before and after your procedure. Dr. Milgram also recommends making arrangements for someone to drive you home the day of your surgery as the anesthesia may impair some of your functions.
How is natural nose rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Milgram?
Dr. Milgram uses a closed technique for his natural nose rhinoplasty. The incisions are made inside the nose, giving him discrete access to manipulate the underlying nose tissue. Working from the inside of the nose, Dr. Milgram can see results as she operates. There is less trauma to the tissue, and the incisions are hidden, resulting in a more natural-looking nose that appears as if it were never operated on.
Do I have to stay overnight after my natural nose rhinoplasty?
No, most rhinoplasty procedures are performed as an outpatient surgery. You will be able to return home the same day. Make sure that you arrange to have somebody pick you up after your procedure, as you cannot drive after receiving anesthesia.
How long does recovery take?
After surgery, you will feel swollen and sore. You may notice some bleeding from the nose and there will be facial bruising. After the first 24 hours, this swelling and bruising will begin to decrease. Dr. Milgram suggests applying ice to soothe the nose and reduce swelling. After about a week of relaxing, you should be able to resume normal activities.
What are the risks of natural nose rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty patients rarely experience excessive bleeding, obstructed breathing due to swelling, numbness in and around the nose, infection, or complications from anesthesia.
If you experience these symptoms, call Dr. Milgram’s personal cell number immediately.
How long will my natural nose rhinoplasty results last?
Dr. Milgram’s natural nose rhinoplasty gives patients the nose they wish they were born with. After this procedure, it will be hard to tell that you ever had surgery and your new, natural nose results will be permanent.
How much does a natural nose rhinoplasty cost?
During your consultation, Dr. Milgram will outline all costs associated with natural nose rhinoplasty.
What are the alternatives to natural nose rhinoplasty?
Dr. Milgram also specializes in a completely non-surgical nose reshaping procedure. During this nasal contouring treatment, she will use a customized blend of different facial fillers to shape your nose based on your goals and current condition.
