Chemical Peels
At New Look New Life, we are strong believers in chemical peels–not chemical risks to our patients
There is truly nothing like a chemical peel for improving skin texture and tone evenness, and reducing the effects of sun damage, scarring, and hyperpigmentation. However, because they are designed to remove the outer layers of skin to reveal fresh skin underneath–as well as to stimulate the body’s own collagen and elastin production–chemicals peels can carry risks of burning the skin, causing infection, and even scarring. Our goal is, obviously, to reduce the risks to the greatest degree possible, while offering the beautiful results.
At New Look New Life, we use Vi Peel, a chemical peel solution that combines phenol acids, vitamin C, and Retin-A to offer a gentler peel experience and is safe for all skin types. 
Vi Peel can be combined with other procedures such as facelifts or injectables–such as Botox, Juvederm, Restylane or Radiesse–to complement those facial treatments with fresh, glowing skin.
Vi Peel solution is applied to the skin of the targeted area (usually the face, chest, hands or neck) with no need for anesthesia. In most cases, patients can wash the solution off after four hours and may experience mild stinging, redness, irritation and flaking, after which point results will be visible.
Vi Peel is recommended to improve the tone, texture and clarity of the skin, reduce or eliminate age spots, freckles and hyper pigmentation inlcuding melasma, reduce the appearance of pore size, soften lines and wrinkles, stimulate the production of collagen and elastin for firmer skin, clear acne skin conditions.
Vi Peel is designed to be used three to four times a year to help reverse and prevent the signs of aging and sun damage on the skin.
